Jason Temple loves bringing the warmth and magic of fire into homes and people's lives. Jason studied at the University of California-Davis, holds a B.S. Agricultural Engineering ('96) and began his study of masonry heaters with the Masonry Heater Association of North America (MHA) in 2011. Captivated by the elegance, practicality and cultural heritage of masonry heaters, and their interesting engineering challenges, Jason has been designing and building masonry heaters full time ever since. Jason is a Professional Member of the MHA. Before building stoves Jason worked as an engineer in aerospace composites, a mountain guide in the Eastern Sierra Nevada and Southeastern US, and was the founding principal in two indoor climbing gyms (Aiguille Rock Climbing Center, Gainesville Rock Gym).
